Welcome to Kindergarten!

Dear Parents

Welcome to your child’s first year of school at Learning Bridge. Each of you can expect a fun filled, learning adventure with your child throughout the year! Parents are always welcome to drop in the classroom at any time and contact me with questions or concerns whether during the day or evening.

I would like to encourage parents to volunteer during lunch (11-11:30) twice a month. Our little ones need lots of help and we are dependent upon volunteers during our lunch times. Reminder: Send cold lunches as microwaves are not available. There are insulated thermos available. Students also need to bring their own dishes and silverware. Thanks:)

Here are a list of supplies for the beginning of the year….we may request additional items as we move through the year:

*1- Medium size crayons

*1- Large package pencils

*2- Large erasers

*3- Large glue sticks

*1- Box tissues

*1- Large Disinfectant Wipes

*1- Package of copy paper

*1- Package Dry Erase markers

*1 - Large package of a snack item (Animal crackers, Goldfish,

fruit snacks, cheese stickers, mini carrots, etc. I have a

refrigerator.) **The class has snack twice a day**

*1 - Playground item (truck, ball, chalk, etc.)

Please feel to contact me @ 775-293-0656 (cell phone) or email bcoleman@elylearningbridge.org In addition, I will send information home for signing up for Remind 101 for the school and Kindergarten. This allows for mass text messages. This is vital for staying informed on school news, such as School Closing, early dismissals, etc.

I look forward to a great year!

Yours Truly,

Billie Sue Coleman

PS- Attendance is huge at Learning Bridge! Schools are awarded star ratings and poor attendance impacts our school's rating. Star ratings determine whether Learning Bridge remains open
